This book is very hard to read. I was excited to get this because the summary was so intriguing, but the story drags on.

The focus of the events includes timelines and parallel universes which spark the imagination to consider that maybe physics as we know it isn't completely expressed in our present 3-D world. I found it a fascinating read. The 16th century dialogue is well-researched which contributes to the authenticity of the events. A wonderful book.

I first heard about this book on the Mysterious Universe podcast. The story absolutely fascinated me and both my siblings. My bro desperately wanted the book to read himself, but the original first print editions were ludicrously expensive. Thankfully, Mr Webster, or someone in the printing business, decided to put an end to the price jacking with this newest print.
Take advantage of it while you can and snag this book asap. The story is an absolute trip; and Mr Webster's style and sense of humor is an extra treat that the MU podcast couldn't do justice to.

I have 2 copies of this book. One has a sticker saying it is from a limited edition of 200. Fascinating story but I am no nearer understanding how the events depicted could have (a) happened or (b) been falsified. Mystery indeed

Others reviewed this and said it was 'hard to read' which I would not agree with. I read it in about a week and it kept my interest and I didn't find it particularly confusing or boring. Because it's a true story, there's no real plot and no firm conclusion, it's just a curious glimpse into the experience that these folks had.
