This book was a great deal of help for me and a few of my classmates during our EMT-B class. We would get together and go over the case studies that were in the book, as well as going over the test questions. We all scored well on out state boards and are now all practicing EMT-B's on a volunteer rescue squad.

Great study guide for NREMT - but this book is now out of print. According to Pearson there is no 4th ed at this time.
According to the Author's web site - the contents are free for educational purposes.

To all prospective Emergency Medical technicians - This is NOT the book you will use at class but it will help you with your National standards test. IT's a very well written book and worth the money and time.

You'll see some of the same questions but the repetition is good. The format helps you get in test taking "mode". The reference to what page of your textbook the answer is found helps a lot, if you have the textbook.

This book doesn't review the material itself, but has a lot of questions to run through. I did this for about a week before my refreshed exam and to my surprise passed!
I found this book to be a great help in preparing myself for the NREMT exam.
