Useless book/manual but unfortunately when the instructor orders it there is not much else you can do. This is a book that I did not need but my loser instructor had it on the required list.

At first I wasn't going to spend extra cash on this but turn out it's required for my pediatric class. I'm so glad I got it though, because it explain the skills so well into steps and pictures. and of course, every books on amazon is cheaper than the book store at school. so THANK YOU AMAZON! :)

I bought this but never really used it for clinical because we only had 3 twelve-hour days that were over very quickly. It is a nice book but the textbook was more informative.

The good layout of the info helps find the info you're researching/learning quickly. The glossary is precise making specific info easy to find. It's small enough to bring with you to clinicals for a reference. :)

Purchased this skills manual as a OBGYN nurse who has to cover Pediatrics to update my skills. Nice and concise and easy to follow however it does not cover the most important aspect of ambulatory pediatric care which is immunizations or vaccines. Very disappointed it does not cover this topic at all.
