ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Wendy Mnookin has had poetry published in various journals including Kalliope, the Beloit Poetry Journal, Cimarron Review, Passages North, and the Wisconsin Review. She is the recipient of several prizes in national poetry competitions. A graduate of Radcliffe College, Wendy Mnookin received her MFA in Writing from Vermont College in Montpelier, Vermont. She lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband, Jim and their three children, Seth, Abigail, and Jacob. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Deborah Davidson received her BA in Fine Arts from SUNY Binghamton and her MFA from Tufts University, School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She exhibits extensively and is currently producing monotypes, small scale sculpture and one-of-a-kind books. She lives in Somerville, Massachusetts. Ms. Mnookin and Ms. Davidson work together frequently. They conduct workshops in the schools in poetry-writing and book-making and are currently collaborating on another book of poetry.
