Sadaron above the Gods
Overpriced and too difficult, book and program is astoundingly bad for 1st time accounting students. Too complex, and wordy, and the online version is worse, since the recordings drone on and on...

Make a simplified version for 1st year accounting students!

Would be better if it has the answers at the back of it
i didn't get an access code for the book, which i thought i was supposed to receive
I didn’t have any issues with the book at all, just that when I got the book, the book had some marks all over it, like some coffee spilled in the pages.
THe book is very clear and simple. The author uses straight forward examples to explain the concepts. Great book to refresh your basic accounting concepts!
For people who don't know any thing about accounting (like me) this the book for you. it starts with the basic concept then explane the more diffecult one in the rest of the book.
eventhough I didn't study all the book however what I have taken was great
I consider myself very unfortunate to have to use this book in my introductory accounting class. I have no idea why the professor picked this particular book. The formulas and key concepts are scattered around and hard to find. There're many anecdotes throughout the book. I appreciate the effort to make the book less boring. But in essence this practice makes the book even harder to follow.

I hope the book did a better job of outlining the contents and making things easy to find. At one point the book talked about "amortization of intangible assets" without bothering to even explain what that means, as if the readers are supposed to know.

I'll give credit to the well structured problems in the book. There are many different kinds of practice problem sets that follow each chapter, and I thought the difficulty level of them are just right. This saved the book from 2 stars.
