What started as a promising beginning and middle ended with a limp flop! Opening was very enticing and the prose contained very interesting. I turned the pages eagerly awaiting to see what happened to the lead character Taj. Quite unending at times I had hoped for answers, like what did San want to tell her and never say?, her partner forgotten her name the White chick, what happened with Hera? Did she die?did she live? Did she have hiv? Was she pregnant? Really?why Quentin and taj didn't hook up? Why Mr Kendall on him being sick leave the shop to Taj to manage, own something? Why Mrs Kelvin on getting divorced and a settlement of 3.5mil saw fit to give a measly 50 thousand dollars? Without Taj she would not have a dime (allegedly) so now at the end 3 successful negative HIV tests,Taj finds a church and lives happily ever after? Disappointed at best with this book.... Such a promising start...middle... Bad end!

This book was well written.

But, being the lesbian women that I am, she was with too many men for my liking.
I understand she couldn't help the fact she was raped but after awhile she wasn't even looking at women for a relationship just a way to get money. It was still a good read though I don't regret my purchase.

I read this book awhile ago but have always loved it. It was full of drama, twists and turns. For me it was a true page turner but I won't give out any of the juicy parts.

I'm upset that this is acutally 2 books in 1. I read Tickery a few months ago which was a great read but ended on a cliff hanger I was so excited to Played because it was suppose to be the 2nd Part to Trickery...to my surprise the 1st 27 chapters of Played is the fisrt book I read Trickery. Had i know that aurthor would PLAY me like that I would of saved my money and just bought PLAYED.

Whatever still an ok read...
