In fairness The Day of Doom is actually pretty tame stuff for a Puritan poem about Judgement Day. Wigglesworth was no John Milton, he simply didn't have the tools to lay it on thick. The publication I read online at the openlibrary site also included five shorter poems of varying length, the same simple rhymes and much the same content about the many types of people who will deservedly cop it at the Last Trump.
