Berkley books, new york. The berkeley publishing group. Invasion might be my most fun book, at least from the point of view of the writing process. Published by the Penguin Group. In contrast to my more typical medical mystery/thrillers where I’m constrained by the need for medical/scientific accuracy to bolster my underlying social message, with Invasion I was able to enjoy the entertaining opportunity to indulge my imagination far more than my memory and just let the ideas flow.

Cook has a fantastic imagination. Some of his books are better than this one, but Invasion did have a unique take on possibilities - not probabilities.

He divides his time among Florida, New Hampshire, and Boston. His most recent novels include Host, Cell, and Nano. Cook has a fantastic imagination.

I found this book in a shelter on the Appalachian Trail, and was immediately enthralled by the over-the-wall tacky writing and completely inaccurate application of science. Robin Cook has created his own reality, literally. At one point he refers to a female's character's bosom as "awesome."

I'm about a third of the way through, and plan to read this book over the course of my lifetime, hopefully several times.

I've always been a fan of Robin Cook and even though this book was not like most of his medical mysteries I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It definitely raised many new alien ideas and considerations. It was still definitely a book I was not able to put down and kept me guessing until the very end. Way to go Robin!!

I loved the book. For so long Mr. Cook told the same story of the big bad HMO killing patients who were sick so they could save money. That story got pretty old. This story was more in the mode of Michael Crichton. I enjoyed It, you might too.

Robin Cook is one of my all time favorites for storytelling. This tale is well written and engaging and just probable enough to keep you up all night reading and thinking. I love it!

Enjoyed the book. Slow some but still kept me looking reading. Will look for another book from author soon. Enjoyed.

Interesting premise, but ending little to improbable. Also slightly disappointed that some of the main characters just die off like no big deal.
Was fast moving and very readable.
