A New York Times Bestselling Author Brilliant and innovative. My Sweet Folly G K Hall Large Print Book Series G. Hall Romance Series Romance Series. "Affaire de Coeur" His letters began with "My Sweet Folly". Over seven years the innocent correspondence between Folie Hamilton and her husband's cousin, Robert, in India transformed into a secret passion. This book lost points with me because although the tortured, devastatingly handsome hero was delicious, I had a hard time believing that he "came around" by the end. Robert's the sort that has a heart.

The author does a great job in analyzing Nat's vocal and piano techniques, and the book is also great on musical details of the 30s and 40s, and the details about the early Trio years are really great. But when the book gets to the 50s and 60s, there is very little about Nat's music from these years. and that's it!!! I am stunned that the author (who obviously knows a lot about music history) barely mentions Nelson Riddle, and does not even mention Gordon Jenkins, at all!

Toby Holt journeys into the hostile, lawless desert of New Mexico to infiltrate a deadly renegade band of outlaw comancheros

Outstanding series! I stumbled upon these books by accident. I was always interested in the Old West anyway so as I read on it became more and more interesting. And as I finished the first one, I found myself wanting to know what's going to happen next. That was the second book and I am now almost to the last - 16 books later. If you love The OId West, you could become hooked on it too.
I am thoroughly enjoying each and every book as I make my way through this series. This is a good one - solid story, engaging characters, and bad guys to keep it exciting. It's wonderful how so many characters continue to be brought into the next story. A great read with characters who are now old friends. Highly recommend, but do start at the beginning with "Independence". PS A little romance is a good thing, too.
I am reading the Wagons West Series. Most I have purchased used through Amazon. I am up to the book Dakota. All the books are good but I have to admit that California is my favorite so far. He does a good job at showing unlawfullness, disorder, and greed. In all the books he does a great job from taking a person from one situation and switching to another. Why I never discovered these books before I'll never know?
Great series, I loved every one of them.
Enjoyed this retelling of the western migration and the characters seemed real . The book held my interest until the last page. I will read more of the series.
Average interesting historic novel. Sometimes a little far fetched.
I loved every one of this series
Enjoying Wagons West. Just starting "California".
