Marion Eleanor Zimmer Bradley (June 3, 1930 – September 25, 1999) was an American author of fantasy, historical fantasy, science fiction, and science fantasy novels, and is best known for the Arthurian fiction novel The Mists of Avalon, and the Darkover series. While she is noted for her feminist perspective in her writing,:28–29 her popularity has been posthumously marred by multiple accusations against her of child sexual abuse and rape by two of her children, Mark and Moira Greyland, and others. The Lhari use Mentorians to identify colors for them. And,since Mentor was the first planet of humans that the Lhari had contactwith, they've always been closer to them. Tommy looked after the two Mentorians enviously.

The method of faster than light travel. This book simply doen't fit into that world. The pace of the story wasn't even, and some parts were just plain boring.
The Colors of Space book. All he knows is that the secret to the Lhari space drive has something to do with an eighth color that humans have never seen before (Marion Zimmer Bradley’s science is a little off here. Well, a lot off, but let’s just ignore that, shall we? Because the idea is so lovely, even if it’s scientifically ridiculous.
