This book should be called "The Ultimate History of Rock'n'Roll," period! It may be written from the perspective of the drummer, but the incredible story that Daniel lays out will be of great interest to any lover of rock music or music history in general.

The book expertly organizes nearly 30 different rock styles and manages to show how they all fit together through the progression of five decades.

Great Job!

Dreadful. There is nothing ultimate about this superficial "history", a very meager pamphlet that is a waste of anyone's attention and coin. Look elsewhere.

Page 26...Charlie Allan Smith??? NO - it's Charlie Allen Martin who played for Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band. At least get the names straight if your going to write a book about great drummers! Wonder how many more errors there are in here?
