Glenn's book is the bedrock of the American family and lost values refound in this day and age of "what can YOU do for me". All parents, uncles, aunts, big brothers and sisters, need to read this book with their families! This is a book that needs to be shared and placed in the open for all to see everyday of the year, not just at Christmas.
We, as parents, must do a better job of teaching our children the value of love and family versus materialistic things. This book is a great starting point. Please read this book and then share with a friend or neighbor. I have bought and given away five copies. Three more on the way this Christmas. Thanks Glenn for sharing such a wonderful story about a family reborn.

Having read this myself one year, I thought it would be a great teaching tool to my kids ages 6, 9 and 11. As we got close to Christmas I could the true meaning as well as just how blessed we are was absent in my boys. So I ordered this CD set. My boys love to listen to Glenn Beck which made this that much better. Now the story was very moving, but what made my 11 year old break down and cry was when Glenn tells about this is based on a true story of his life. It is truly great story, brought to us by an author whom I don't always agree with, but have learned to respect and value his opinion. Thank you for opening up Mr. Beck.

I stumbled across Glenn Beck on a talk radio station. At first I didn't really care for him, but then I heard him on September 11, doing a commemoration of the anniversary of the twin towers attack, and it touched me in a way that few things have ever touched me. Glenn is a recovering alcoholic who hit rock bottom and with the help of his wife, turned his life around. He has a wonderful view of the family and the importance of each person doing what he or she can to make a difference in our society. This book is based upon his own experiences growing up and is worth the price and much more. (Richard Paul Evans, who wrote The Christmas Box, recommends it highly.) I have purchased copies as gifts for my three daughters. This is a book that will touch your heart and make you stop and think about what is really important in life.
