This is a must have series for elementary school classroom libraries. It appears that the editors have pulled chapters out of the original Little House books and published them in larger font. The size of the book is less intimidating and more inviting to non readers and slow starters. They can feel successful reading one book after another. By the time they finish this series, they will be readers!
