The popular bunny siblings are back in two more board books?but as their baby selves.

In Love, readers find out who Max loves best. Is it the one who wakes him? The one who takes him for a ride? The one who plays with him? The one who stays with him?

In Counting Peas, an ill-timed sneeze sends Max?s peas in all directions. Max helps out by picking them up: five, two, seven.

With eye-catching novelty elements, these irresistible board books will introduce the very youngest readers to the beloved bunny pair, who star in their own show on Nick Jr. and Noggin.

This is a short book, so I was surprised that it has become the favorite bed time story recently beating out even the Llama Llama books. The kids like it better than the their books that are 2 and 3 times lengthier. Rosemary Wells' Max & Ruby stories have expression and humor and cute every day adventure type of plots that always have been the favorite for our little ones.

My children who are now all adults loved all the Max books so now I'm purchasing them for grandchildren. We love them all.

As a professional in the business of computing numeric statistics and mesurments from large data sources I found Couting Peas an invaluable reference material in my discipline. I have since progressed to 'Abacus Mind Math Level 1 Workbook 1 of 2: Excel at Mind Math with Soroban, a Japanese Abacus', but i have found the material over engineered comapred to 'Counting Peas' which focuses on real world scenarios applicable to SMEs through to big business.

Quick read. The peas are bumpy so my 2 year old likes to feel them. Has counting up to 10.
